Our Firm
Established in 1967, Knowles Law Firm is a family-operated office that practices almost exclusively in personal injury law. Our founding attorney, Jim Knowles, Sr., began practicing law in 1957 as an Omaha trial lawyer handling many kinds of civil matters. By 1967, his law practice focused on personal injury claims.
In 1981, his oldest son, Jim, Jr., joined him in practice and immediately devoted almost all of his time to personal injury. Three years later, his youngest son, Bob, joined the firm, and he too practices almost exclusively in the personal injury field. In May 2007, Jim Jr.'s oldest son, Matt, graduated from Creighton University's School of Law and joined the Knowles Law Firm. And soon there will be more: Jim, Jr.'s son and Bob's daughter are currently in law school.
